to try their lunch menu – apparently the beef ribs are to die for. I finally had a day off during the week (they serve all day breakfast on the weekends) so off we went.
SO GLAD THAT I DID – she wasn’t lying! The menu reads Caramelised Beef Ribs cooked in coconut milk and spices, served with a fresh coconut salad and sweet dipping sauce. Is your mouth watering yet? Why don’t I also add Pulled Pork Quesadillas to that?? Shoulder of pork, marinated in spices and slow cooked in sarsparilla, shredded and served in a grilled tortilla with cheddar and BBQ sauce, accompanied by a BBQ corn, capsicum and avocado salad. Are you in the car yet?
The beef ribs absolutely fell apart, and with the dipping sauce poured all over the top and the salad and and and I could just rave about this day long but I strongly suggest you go as soon as you can (like now…) and see for yourself just how amazing it is, because nothing I can write here is going to do it justice. It tasted so good I didn’t want to swallow, because every mouthful was one step closer to an empty plate, it even crossed my mind to just order another plate. It’s THAT GOOD.
The Pork was also delicious and if you can stand to share, I would definitely recommend getting one of each, but divvy up your beef plate to start with or there will be a fork fight for the last mouthfuls!
